Pentaho-Hadoop Integration
   • Data volumes have grown beyond the capacity
        of even the high-end databases
   • Hadoop is a powerful, low cost alternative
        for storing and analyzing very large data sets
   • Biggest challenge is that using it often requires
        development resources to implement
   • Pentaho will provide the first end-to-end BI Suite integration with

        each pillar (i.e. Reporting, Analysis, Data Integration)
   • Quality Assurance testing is performed ONLY on Enterprise Edition packages

Customer Case Management
   • Enhancements, Defects and New Features are managed in JIRA

   • Viewing your case in JIRA will provide visibility into:
          • Status – is my case still open? Is it resolved in a particular release? etc.
          • Priority (trivial to blocker) - assigned priority by Pentaho’s triage team
          • Description – details of the request or reproduction path for defects
          • Fix Version – what release(s) is the case targeted to be resolved in

   • Open Source projects - JIRA cases can be tracked directly

   • Enterprise Edition projects – access to specific cases can be requested
        from support
