This document analyzes peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction techniques in Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems, highlighting their significance in enhancing signal transmission efficiency. The study evaluates various methods like amplitude clipping and filtering, Selected Level Mapping (SLM), and Partial Transmit Sequence (PTS), demonstrating their effectiveness in reducing PAPR through simulation results. It also discusses the trade-offs involved, such as data rate loss and complexity in implementing these techniques.
