This document outlines a research project to develop digital materials and an environmental textbook for teaching environmental protection to students in Vietnam. It finds that environmental education is lacking in schools due to it not being a compulsory subject and curriculums focused on exams. The project involved field research from 2015-2018 to study challenges, develop psychology-based materials, and create a long-term high school curriculum. It designed games, videos and worksheets to motivate students and help them learn environmental concepts across different subjects. The benefits included increased student engagement, teaching critical thinking and leadership skills, and allowing teachers to take on more of a coaching role.
