Debbie Baff, a part-time PhD student at Lancaster University, is focusing her research on informal online professional learning networks and their impact on educator engagement and emotional support. After starting her studies in 2017 and completing all required modules, she plans to submit her research proposal and begin data collection amidst the challenges posed by COVID-19. Her work aims to uncover factors that promote participation in online networks and the relationship between these networks and open pedagogical practices.
