- 2. Production planning: • In this PowerPoint i will be planning my FMP work, throughout my production and evaluation. I will be going through each individual parts of my FMP and how I want to create it and it to turn out.
- 3. tools • I will be using many tools during production including my laptop and keyboard, mouse and monitor too for a extra screen and more space to work on. I will also be using an apple mac at college and a photo copier and camera to record my interview segment on my website
- 4. websites • Some websites makers I can be using will be WIX website maker or square space I am most likely to use wix as I am more familiar with how to use it as we used it last year, other websites I will use will be “raf steamjever”, which is made by past raf pilots and has many useful facts and pictures that I can use for my own website as there is little to none information on the 118 squadron on the internet especially not in the same amount of detail.
- 5. software • I will be using many software's to create and document my FMPs progress I will mainly be using adobe photoshop to create my work as it allows me to create intricate designs and edits for my pages of my website. I will also be using Microsoft word to type out the written factors on my website as I can spell check all my work on it before uploading it.
- 6. hardware • I will use many hardware in creating my FMP such as my laptop and keyboard, mouse and monitor too for a extra screen and more space to work on. I may also need to use a printer/scanner to be able to scan in some work and transfer it onto my laptop so I can implement to my FMP.
- 7. places • I will not need any locations as for my FMP i am making a website so will not require different locations, due to lockdown I may be moving between college or home depending on restrictions, on the 8th of march the return to college will start with staggered testing (for covid- 19), the return back to college will mean I will need a memory stuck to store and transport my work. • Transport: I will be walking to college so do not require and modes of transport
- 8. content • My FMP is based around the 118 squadron but mostly my great uncle George alexander Croall, I will focus on him as I have the most information on him. I will be writing up the history of the squadron and its involvement in ww2, and what type of operations they took part in. I will use pictures from family and the internet to create my page designs.

Time frame • Week 1 of production: gather pictures and start writing the content of pages • Week 2 of production: continue writing the content of the website and start creating the website where I will put my written content in. • Week 3 of production: finish production of website layout and start adding content to relevant pages • Week 4 of production: finish and refine my website with content and pictures.

Contingency planning • Covid-19: check next slide. • Damage to equipment: have work uploaded to the cloud and an external USB • Damage to work: I can prevent this by having multiple saves on multiple areas • Not being able to work: due to many factors including injury or becoming ill, or having to go into work. There may be other factors that could mean I cant do my work such as having to do things when at home such as walking my dog or doing jobs around the house but to combat this I will change my availability at work so I will have more time to do college work.
- 15. Covid-19 planning • COVID-19: due to the ongoing pandemic and continuous in and outs of between lockdowns I will have to take certain measures to determine my safety against the virus. To do so I will wear a face covering (over mouth and nose) at all times when less than 2m from other people and clean all the equipment I use with wipes before and after use. To combat the fact we will be working on a in-out basis weekly until Easter at college I will save my work on a USB and on the cloud so I can work at both home and college without loosing progress on my work.
- 16. Website making • I am planning on making my website on wix website maker and other software's including but not exclusive too adobe photoshop, Microsoft word, and adobe premiere pro for most of my production.
- 17. Final product • I plan my final product to be a fully working website on wix about the history of the 118 squadron and my late great great uncle George alexander Croall, as his story really interests me and inspires me. I want to have edited pictures, video and lots of factual content on my website.
- 18. evaluation • For my evaluation I will do daily reflection of my production process and evaluate my work daily. Once I have finished my production process I will evaluate my entire production process and final product against existing products and I will also ask my peers to examine and critique my work.
