  First scene takesplace at the funeral of Matthew Lowe, the audience meets his late wife Angela Lowe (a pharmacist), his daughter Kristina Lowe and his sister Rachel Lowe (a police officer). Rachel is staying with Angela and Kristina while they recover from the death of Matthew. Rachel becomes suspicious of Angela due to the mysterious circumstances of Matthew’s death and Angela’s locked pantry. While Angela and Kristina are out Rachel finds out what was inside of the pantry, various banned and prescription medications. She then works to gather evidence to prove that Angela murdered her husband. After finding enough evidence, through Angela’s diary entries, Rachel confronts her. Rachel is subsequently attacked by Angela (being injected with a sedative), Rachel tells Kristina to run before Angela has the chance to hurt Kristina too. Kristina begins to run to the door, but instead of opening it and running to safety she locks the door and calmly returns to her mothers side. The screen fades into black as Rachel becomes unconscious. The screen returns to a POV shot of Rachel, she is strapped to a wheelchair and dressed in pyjamas. Angela begins feeding her and the screen shows surreal body horror – focusing on Angela, indicating that Rachel has been fed some sort of hallucinogenic drug. The film ends with a shot zooming out on Rachel, in an unconscious state – still in the wheelchair. The final scene of the film is Angela locking the front door and a close-up of the smile on her face.
