In the 1950s, when rock was developed, one of the first groups to drift to it was teenagers, being

Cyril Dabydeen s usage of flashbacks and irony in her short story, Mammita s Cove Garden ,
shines light on Max s perplexed attitudes towards Canada. The main character in the short story,
Max, allows his perceptions to cloud the hard notch reality of his unforeseen situation. Cyril
Dabydeen s usage of flashbacks allows a sense of verisimilitude to unravel as Max accepts the

Cell surface receptors are integral membrane proteins that play a major role in signal transduction,

the extracellular receptor site of the GPCR, the G protein changes conformation and GTP replaces
the GDP on the alpha subunit of the G protein (Figure 2). This activated alpha subunit then parts
from the beta and gamma subunits. The alpha subunit becomes inactive when the ligand leaves the
receptor site and the receptors own phosphorylase activity removes a phosphate from the GTP
molecule, therefore leaving GDP bound to the alpha subunit and the reformation of the 3 subunits.

Part two: Summary of student outcomes
The evaluation of the students work was conducted with the end of year exams in mind. In
particular, I wanted to provide feedback and forward to the students that was targeted towards their
essay writing in the exams at the end of the year. I grouped results from what grades the students
gained against the marking schedule that I developed. Bearing in mind that the sample size was
small, most students attained the merit grade, with the same amount of students being either side of
the merit grade with three respectively. This indicates that the work that is being achieved is at an
above average level, highlighted by no one failing the assessment. The evidence also suggests that
the students are on the way to excellence. With the feed forward being provided there should be a
number of those students who should be attaining excellences in that class at the end of year mock
exams.
In terms of the specific feedback forward itself. There were common trends that came through for
each grade. Figure two, outlines some common themes that came across for each student attaining
those grades. For the achieved level the, students were identifying the causes and consequences.
The feedforward for those students is that if they want to attain merits and excellences they need to
be giving more specific detail to accompany their causes and consequences. What that indicates is
that I need to provide to those students a wider range of examples to allow

The UniSA s School of Law is a heritage building with important historical value. It was built in
1940 41 for the administrative headquarters of the South Australian Brewing Company. In 1956,

that are within the corrections part of criminal justice usually refers to the events that occur after
being sentenced in a court of law. During the past few decades many problems have arisen in this
area, solutions have been discussed and put into use over the years as well. However, there are still
problems that are being dealt with in today s corrections.
One problem that is faced in the corrections system today is overpopulation in the prisons. Prisons
all over the United States are becoming overcrowded and that leads to many other problems such as

Many programs have been initiated to help the problems of overcrowding and negligence. These
include education, rehabilitation programs, work release programs, and other preventative
measures. Numerous education programs are offered to inmates. Some prisons even mandate the
completion of a GED if the offender never finished high school. Many colleges in the prison s
community partner together with each other to enable higher learning as a possibility for
offenders to obtain college credit. These services help inmates succeed in an inmate s preparation
to reintegrate into society with less chances of being arrested again. Offenders that are more
prepared to leave prison are not as likely to commit a crime which improves the safety of the

Teaching Style Of The Instructor
Each teacher is different no matter what the course subject is. When I find myself in a new
class with a new professor I seem to notice the little details that make up the teaching style of the
instructor. In total I have four classes all of which are part of Chattahoochee technical College.
Two of those classes take place at the Paulding Campus and the other two take place at the North
Metro campus. I take my American Government class at the North Metro Campus every
Tuesdays and Thursdays. Every Monday and Wednesday I go to the Paulding Campus to take
College Algebra. These two professors differ in more ways than just the subject of their course.
My American government teacher is pretty cool. He has a very fun way of teaching. By
cracking jokes and making cheesy remarks on every chapter, he always succeeds at making his
class an interesting one. Every lecture does not even seem like one. I always look forward to
sitting in the front of his class ready to learn everything. However, my college algebra professor
is, with all due respect, a more old schooled instructor. He does crack a few jokes from time to
time but he s mostly serious. He is very focused because in math one flaw, no matter how small,
can cause the answer to be wrong. His way of teaching is quite interesting as well; not only does
he teach the class the easiest way to solve a problem, he also teaches the class the harder way.
