This document outlines a research proposal on student attitudes towards and uses of multiple languages in Timor-Leste. The proposal includes background information on Timor-Leste's demographics and languages. The objectives are to investigate student attitudes towards uses of multiple languages in education, explore factors influencing these attitudes, and inform future language policy.
