FLIP-FLOP In electronics a flip-flop or latgh is a circuit that has two stable states and can be used to store state information , basically they are the fundamental building blocks of digital electronics system used in computers. Flip- flop and latches are used as data storage elements. It is a device which stores a single bit of data, it represent 0 & 1. Flip-flop can be either level-triggered or edge-triggered circuits that stores a single bit of data using gates.
- 8. SYNCHRONUS Synchronus sequential circuit uses logic gates as Flip-flop as storage device & as a clock signal in its one output & it has a clock signal in its one input. The state transition occurs when the value changes 0 to 1 or 1 to 0. 0 to 1 means rising condition & 1 to 0 means falling condition of the edges.On the basis of previous inputs or outputs fixed the present state and next state.

DESIGN OF FLIP-FLOP This Flip-flops is designed using logic gates. • An Edge-triggeredFlip-flop responds only during the brief instant of the of the clock switches from one voltage level to another voltage level.When trigger occurs it changes from positive to negative or vice- versa. • A Level-triggered Flip-flop response either in high voltage or low voltage.
