question 4: How did you use new media
   technologies in the construction and
research, planning and evaluation stages?
Throughout the construction of the music video and ancillary products
we had used:
For constructing the music video we had
used a camcorder to record most of the
footage we had needed and the camcorder
was provided for us by the school as well as the
tripod stand that was needed for certain scenes
That required the picture to remain still and
focused on the location. I was pleasant with the
overall result of the scenes we had shot in central
London but was unsatisfied with the quality of the
camera of filming the park scenes. This was because
of the time of day we had shot them as it was sunset,
the natural lighting had made the filming look more
dim.
To correct that problem we had to use the brightness
and contrasting effect on Adobe Premier when editing
the camera footage we had shot. I had also used this
programme when editing my vox/pops for research and
planning.
For the ancillary task we had used a bridge camera that had also belonged to the
school and we had taken pictures for the magazine advertisement at school with
the performer having to stand in front of the green screen and lights being placed
on her for the best possible quality coming out of the pictures. For the images
contributing towards the front cover album and back cover album we had used one
of our own cameras and had taken the shots whilst in our location of filming the
music video and that was at the park. For the construction part towards our final
ancillary products we had used the programme called Adobe Photoshop and this
is where we had added any effects that was needed and the writing and extra
images that was necessary to make it appear as the desired product as possible.

I had used blogger as a way of presenting
all of the work that I have done for preparing
for the final music video and products. I had
posted things such as the development that
had taken place and I had constructed this
development using another website called
Slide share. I had created some PowerPoint
Presentations in which had included the analytical
developments of my ancillary and video products
and after uploading them on this website, it
was then embedded onto my blog. It was done
in this way so that it does not make my blog look
too lengthy as the slide share posts are like
a creativity to me as well as making my overall
blogs appearance look more tidy and assessable.

These two websites were also used when
constructing my evaluation and the questions that
had slide share presentations where put in my blog
In the same way as mentioned above.
I had used YouTube for uploading
the final music and the vox pops
that was part of the research and
planning stage. After uploading them
they were then composed into my blog
in which it was then also accessible.

I had used Microsoft word during
my research and planning to converse
in things such as ideas for our music
video and the sketches that were taken
into consideration when producing
our ancillary products. The snipping tool
was used to create images out of
the word documents and they were
inserted into my blog as images.
