This document proposes changing the scope of a general search system to a video discovery site focused on theater topics. It would allow users to search for and discover videos, simultaneously watch and chat about them. Technical hurdles include integrating real-time videos from YouTube and assumptions about spelling "Theatre" vs "Theater". It provides an timeline with assignments for each member to work on front-end and back-end development of video playback, voting and chat features, as well as testing, with a presentation planned for the final week.
