This document presents a numerical study on the microcombustion of CH4-air mixtures within micro combustors, investigating factors such as combustor size, geometry, and inlet velocities on flame temperature and combustion efficiency. The study finds that smaller combustor dimensions and higher inlet velocities can lead to reduced residence time, adversely affecting combustion stability and heat generation. It highlights the importance of monitoring various boundary conditions when optimizing microcombustion systems for effective applications.
