INTRODUCTION
 Quality - is the standard of something as measured
again things of a similar kind .
 Improvement – is the process to make thing better
 Technique – is a method of doing an activity

What is Kaizen ?
 Kaizen is the Japanese word
 It means “improvement”
 It is continuous improvement.
 It refers to an activity that involve all the employee
 From CEO to the assembly line worker.
Kaizen Cycle
 Get employees involved
 Find problems
 Create solution
 Test solution
 Analyse the results
 Adopt the solution
 Repeat on ongoing basis
When kaizen model is applicable
 Quality of product and service to be improved
 Reduction in waste
 Greater efficiency and lower model
What is “5 S” ?
 5 S is the system for organizing spaces for work.
 In this system we have to put everything in right the place
 It will help the worker in following ways:
• To do their work efficiently
• Eliminate wasting time
• Avoid risky injury.

What is Q C circle ?
 The Quality Circle concept provides an opportunity to the
circle members.
 Circle member includes few managers representing
production, quality control, design, process planning form the
Quality Circle.
 A opportunity to use their wisdom, creativity and
experience in improvement of the work.
Where it is applicable ?
 Increased team work, Smooth working
 Preventing accidents improving design and process etc.
 Select, analyse and solve the problems.
What is “7 Q C Tool” ?
 7QC tools is a collection of statistical tools.
 Which need not to be applied in a particular sequence.
 Set of commonly used graphical statistical analysis tools
 They can be used to help solve many different types of problems,
7 Q C tool are as follows:
 Cause and effect diagram
 Control chart
 Pareto chart
 Scatter diagram
 Histogram
 Check sheet
 Flow chart
where it applicable ?
 Seven QC tools are most helpful in troubleshooting issues related to
quality.
 The continuous use of these tools upgrades the personnel characteristics
of the people involved.
 to minimize the risk of errors or weaknesses in procedures.
 It help to solve almost 95% problem because it include 7 types of tool.
Conclusion:
 Identify opportunities and make changes accordingly.
 Positive impact on business.
 This also helps in pinpointing the areas where value should be added.
 Reducing errors, and maximizing productivity from all employees.
 Continuous improvement is not a destination, but a journey of ongoing
