Question 6: What
have you learnt
about technologies
from the process of
constructing this
product?

Blogger
Since the start of AS media, I have used blogger to
create my own blog that stores all of my work. I
think that blogger is a really good internet site to
share your ideas and I really enjoy using it. I found
that it’s a really good way of storing all of my
coursework and it is easy to keep well organised.

Nikon DSLR Camera
Taking my images for my product involved using a
Nikon D3200. I have had a lot of experience using
this camera already but I found that it is a really
good camera to take magazine pictures with
because they come out looking very professional
and clear.

Photoshop
Photoshop has been a huge part of my Construction
Process as well as the Research and Planning. I used
Photoshop to edit some of my images from my
photo shoot. I also used it to make my front cover,
contents page and double page spread. I learnt
how to use all the layers and how to put the image
over the writing. I think that Photoshop is a really
good program to use and I really enjoyed getting
to use it and learning how to use it.

Photo Peach
I used photo peach to present my photo shoot and to
present my edits and put them on my blog. I think
that it makes it an easy and appealing way to view
all the photos taken. It is a really good site to display
photos. I also used it to display my survey answers as
I could put it in a spiral and it allows the viewer to
click the spiral and view each section separately
and clearer.

Survey Monkey
I used survey monkey in my Question 4 for my
evaluation. I found that it was a good way to get
people to answer questions to enable me to know if
I have used the right codes and conventions to
make people assume the right target audience.
Survey monkey is really easy and straight forward to
use and it doesn’t take long to pick up on how to
use it.

Power point and Slide Share
I used power point to create slides on my evaluation
question 3. Power point is really easy to use and I
use it a lot to present things. I uploaded the power
point on to slide share and it was the most simplest
thing ever. Once you’ve uploaded your power
point, it just gives it a nice way to present it and to
add to your blog and then gives suggestions at the
end for similar power point presentations.

Prezi
I used Prezi to create a presentation for question 2 of
my evaluation. I had never used it before and it
took me a few tries to get used to but after that it
was pretty straight forward and looked really good
when I played the presentation as it gave me a
good template choice and I could use different
fonts and colours. I would use it again to present my
work.

Windows Live Movie Maker
I used Windows Live Movie Maker for question 5 of my
evaluation. I think that Movie Maker is really straight
forward to use and is actually a really good way of
displaying work. You can change the fonts and the
colours, add music, transition, pictures and images.

Go Animate
I used Go Animate for question 1 of my evaluation.
The template that I chose was wild animals. I like it
because it gives a sense of humour to my blog and
it also creates a good interview or conversation that
tells the listener everything they are required to
know. The only problem I had with it is that you can
only add a certain amount of speech so I have to
do two parts to it.

YouTube
I used YouTube for question 5 of my evaluation.
YouTube is one of the most used sites on the internet
and it is full of music, bloggers and work. I like using
YouTube to present my work because it is easy to
use and to attach to my blog.
