According to three charts from Raddon Financial Group's research:
- 69% of Gen Y respondents currently use prepaid debit cards compared to 47% of all online respondents. Only 5% of Gen Y and 10% of all respondents say they are not likely to use prepaid debit cards.
- 36% of PayPal customers currently use their mobile phone number and PayPal account to make in-store purchases. 27% say they are very or extremely likely to do so.
- The most common uses of PayPal accounts are for online purchases (91%), collecting payment for goods and services (50%), and peer-to-peer payments (46%). Less common are in-store purchases (24%) and paying bills
