READING MATTERS!!
According to research that 40-

forgotten very shortly about 15
minutes.
Over 40% of high school students fail to
graduate because many of them can’t
read enough to keep up.
Over 50% of college students fail to
graduate because they are not prepared
for the amount of reading needed in
college.
Researchers from the University of Edinburgh and
King's College London found that early reading skills
might positively affect later intellectual abilities.
"Since reading is an ability that can be improved,
our findings have implications for reading
instruction," Stuart J. Ritchie, leader of the study
and a research fellow in psychology at the
University of Edinburgh, said in a statement. "Early
remediation of reading problems might aid not only
the growth of literacy, but also more general
cognitive abilities that are of critical importance
across the lifespan."
