The paper presents a novel region-based dynamic time-varying addressing scheme aimed at mitigating various network threats in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) by improving the security and efficiency of routing protocols. This approach assigns addresses to nodes dynamically upon entry into the network and employs an address verification mechanism to reduce the risk of routing attacks and enhance quality of service parameters such as throughput and latency. The proposed method is evaluated through simulations demonstrating its efficacy compared to existing approaches, highlighting improvements in network performance.
