• Education:
According to John Dewey, “Education is the process of
living through a continuous reconstruction of experiences. It is
the development of all those capacities in the individual which will
enable him to control his environment and fulfil his possibilities.”

change refers to a pattern of social

which exhibits changes over some definite
period of time.”

 Speed of social change is continuous, but not uniform

 Education as a instrument of social change;
 Education as a result of social change.
