It is the development of all those capacities in the individual which will enable him to control his environment and fulfil his possibilities.” • Social Change: According to Miller, “Social change refers to a pattern of social relationship in a given social setting, which exhibits changes over some definite period of time.”

  Relationship between Education& Social Change: In the words of Francis J. Brown, “ Education is the process which brings about changes in behaviour of society.” We can elaborate the relationship in three ways,  Education as a condition of social change;  Education as a instrument of social change;  Education as a result of social change.
