Components Required
S 8050
S8050 is a NPN

ground and will be closed
(Forward biased) when a
signal is provided to base pin.
Diode 1N4148
A diode is a device which
allows current flow
through only one
direction. That is the
current should always
flow from the Anode to
cathode.
Resistor 1K
A resistor reduces (or
resists) the flow of
current. The value of the
resistance is expressed
as a number of ohms
(the symbol Ω is used
for ''ohm'').

NAME OR LOGO
Components Required
Resistor 1M
Most resistors are too small
to show their resistance as a
printed number. A colour code
is used instead.
RF 433MHz
Receiver

MHz
Modulation: ASK
Input Voltage: 5V
RF 433MHz
Transmitter
433MHz is a commonly
used frequency band for

DIP SWITCH
A DIP switch is a

Components Required
Gear Motor 12V
DC
This is a metal DC geared
motor, 100% pure copper
coils, high-density molecular
layer, 50:1 metal reducer,
small size, large torque. The
maximum torque could arrive
42 kg.cm, stable and durable.
Battery 12V

applications. Constructed
in sealed, rectangular
high impact plastic case.
Battery 9V
he nine-volt battery, or 9-
volt battery, is a common
size of battery that was
introduced for the early
transistor radios. This type
is commonly used in
walkie-talkies, clocks and
smoke detectors.
CCD Camera
The majority of wireless security cameras
operate on the 2.4 GHz frequency. Most
household routers, cordless phones, video
game controllers, and microwaves operate on
the 2.4 GHz frequency and may cause
interference with a wireless security camera.

NAME OR LOGO
The circuit uses HT 12E, HT 12D encoder and decoder. 433MHz ASK transmitter and receiver is used for the remote
control. H-bridge circuits are used for driving motors. Two 12V DC/100RPM gear motors are used as drivers
Thus the output signals that are generated controls the H-bridge which then rotates the motors. The 433 MHZ ASK
transmitter and receivers are extremely small, and are excellent for applications requiring short-range RF remote
controls.
The transmitter module is only 1/3rd the size of a standard postage stamp, and can easily be placed inside a small
plastic enclosure. The transmitter output is up to 8mW at 433.92MHz. The transmitter accepts both linear and digital
inputs and can operate from 1.5 to 12 Volts-DC,

and makes building a miniature hand-held RF
transmitter very easy.
The 433 MHZ ASK transmitters is
approximately the size of a standard postage
stamp433 MHZ ASK receivers also operate at
433.92MHz, and have a sensitivity of
3uV. The receiver operates from 4.5 to 5.5
volts-DC.

Section
CCD
In this section we are using a wireless
CCD camera. It works on 12VDC supply.
To know more about CCD camera, click
on the link below.
The 12 Volt DC supply is taken from the
battery placed in the robot. The camera
has a receiver, which is placed in the
remote station. Its output signals are in
the form of audio and video. These
signals are directly connected to a TV
receiver or a computer through a tuner
card.
NAME OR LOGO
ASK receiver receives the serial data transmitted
by the transmitter and gives it decoder to convert
it to the parallel. This parallel data is given to the
L293D motor driver IC to control the robot
motors. Here LED D5 indicates the valid
transmission.
RF RECIEVER L293D MOTOR
L293d is a Dual H-bridge motor driver. Used as a
current amplifier since it takes low current control
signal and provides higher current signal as output.
This output signal is used to drive the motors.
This IC drives 2 motors simultaneously, both in
forward direction and reverse direction. Motor 1
direction can be controlled based on logic inputs at
IN1 and IN2. Motor 2 operations are controlled
based on the inputs at IN3 and IN4. Here the
motors are operated with the voltage applied at pin

HARDWARE
• Microcontroller: Microcontroller is a
microprocessor designed specifically for control
applications, and is equipped with ROM, RAM
and facilities Input/ Output on a single chip.
The ATmega16 is a low-power, high-
performance CMOS 8-bit microcomputer with

passed through a conductor there is a magnetic
field which is created

NAME OR LOGO
SOFTWARE
PROTEUS:
It is an application program for simulation of system using virtual hardware component.
MAIN AIM:
○ The main aim of the project is to control the robot with wireless technology. For this purpose
receiver board is designed. At the transmitting end, commands are sent to the receiver to control the
movement of the robot either to move forward, backward and left or right etc from a smart phone.
Receiver board is placed on the robot. Here we are using wireless communication between
transmitter and receiver. At the receiving end two motors are interfaced to the AVR microcontroller
where they are used for the movement of the vehicle. For the movement of the robot, DC motors
are used. A wireless camera is mounted on the robot body for spying purpose. The robot has the
capability of sensing temperature of its surrounding. For this purpose corresponding sensor is used
on the robot according to environmental condition.
14
NAME OR LOGO

NAME OR LOGO
CONCLUSION
○ With the help of camera we are able to view the things that are happening in the surrounding area
where the robot is hidden. This kind of robot can be helpful for spying purpose in war field. The robot
will move depending on the motor direction based upon the input. By keeping the circuit easy and
simple, most of the users will be able to use it without any difficulty. Our design has not caused any sort
