  DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION Al-abeerMedical Center Jeddad-Sharafiyah-Khalid Bin Al Waleed St. Position: ER NURSE/STAFF NURSE OUT-PATIENT DEPARTMENT: Responsible for the management and supervision of nursing and related OPD activities including planning, organizing, coordinating and evaluating the nursing service activities.  Establish rapport with patients.  Take vital signs and weights of patients.  Assess and writes down chief complaints.  Gives nursing care to patients.  Immunize patients.  Assist physician during examination of patients.  Prepares and assist physician during minor operation.  Keeps Out-Patient Department clean and orderly,  Gives health teachings to patients and relatives.  Maintain working relationship with the members of the health team.  Request needed supplies for OPD use.  Does removal of sutures for post-operative patients per order of the physician.  Fills up the logbook for OPD patient, Medico-legal and non-medico legal (trauma cases) patients.
