DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION Al-abeer Medical Center Jeddad-Sharafiyah-Khalid Bin Al Waleed St. Position: ER NURSE/STAFF NURSE OUT-PATIENT DEPARTMENT: Responsible for the management and supervision of nursing and related OPD activities including planning, organizing, coordinating and evaluating the nursing service activities. Establish rapport with patients. Take vital signs and weights of patients. Assess and writes down chief complaints. Gives nursing care to patients. Immunize patients. Assist physician during examination of patients. Prepares and assist physician during minor operation. Keeps Out-Patient Department clean and orderly, Gives health teachings to patients and relatives. Maintain working relationship with the members of the health team. Request needed supplies for OPD use. Does removal of sutures for post-operative patients per order of the physician.
