To whom it may concern:
I would like to introduce myself as a well-rounded, dynamic individual, with a strong work ethic, whom is
wishing to utilize his work experiences and education to advance myself and your business. I think that after
reviewing my work history and references you will discover a dedicated and enthusiastic person that will prove to be
an asset to your organization.
In the summer of 2006 I made the decision to pursue a new career and began classes in August of that year.
In May of 2008 I completed my degree in the Electrical Engineering Technology curriculum at SUNY Canton with
a 3.99 GPA.
I was with my former employer, a telecom equipment repair/refurb house, for more than two and one half
years. Our facility closed, unexpectedly on 3/20/15. I thoroughly enjoyed this position and wish to pursue new and
challenging opportunities. I have been working in my field of study since December of 2007, and have served in a
wide variety of rolls. My latest experience as a Lead Technician with Farrow Technologies has exercised and
extended upon my formal schooling at SUNY Canton.
I was a manager or supervisor for most of my twenty-one years in the volume retail industry. I was, in my
last position in retail, the Evening Operations Manager (for eight years) with Hannaford. My work history with them
was progressive throughout my time there. I possess outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills. I am a
team player as well as an effective team builder. I have proven my ability to work effectively and productively in a
variety of roles. As a manager I took an active hands-on approach to every day operations. I am a strong problem
solver and decision maker. I am a loyal employee with a willingness to embrace change in the workplace. While in
retail I had experience in developing production plans and employee scheduling based on these plans. I preformed
departmental data entry on a daily basis to report actual production history. Receiving direct store deliveries was yet
another way that I used industry related technology. I am safety conscious with only one lost time incident in my
thirty year work history.
I have computer experience with AutoCAD, MultiSIM, Allen Bradley PLC’s, PIC basic programming,
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, various e-mail, and other proprietary software applications. I am also experienced with
the various hand and power tools associated with different applications such as electrical, mechanical,
woodworking, metalworking, carpentry and plumbing. I am an experienced forklift and power jack operator with
trainer status while in retail. I have limited experience with small engine, automotive and heavy-duty truck repair. I
am a media buff with experience with many different types of audio/video and computer peripheral equipment.
I look forward to hearing from you in the near future to make an appointment for an interview. Thank you
for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
James Judware
