The wonder of Jabalpur lies in its Marble Rocks
and the torrential waterfall called Dhuandhar.

at Bhedaghat rise to a hundred feet on either
side of the Narmada

the longest river in Madhya
Pradesh, flowing towards
the west and falling in the
Arabian Sea. Its total length
is 1312 km of which it covers
1072 km in Madhya Pradesh.
River Narmada runs through marble ravines at
Bhedaghat, about 14 kilometers from Jabalpur.
The famous 'Dhuan Dhaar' falls and the lime stone formations known more
popularly as the 'marble rocks'.
These falls used to disappear during the monsoon season when the water level
rose, but it does not happen anymore due to the Bargi dam upstream.
