Sapa is a mountainous town in northern Vietnam located 38km from Lao Cai town. There are two routes to access Sapa - taking a train or driving from Hanoi to Lao Cai then continuing by car or motorbike to Sapa, or traveling from Binh Lu to Sapa by train, car, motorcycle, or horse. Sapa has a temperate climate with average yearly temperatures between 15-18 degrees Celsius and four distinct seasons throughout the day. Rainfall is common between May and August.
