This 40 year old male consulted in our OP on 12th November 2006. He was suffering from pain and swelling in all joints especially on left knee. Apart from pain in joints he complained that of pain in all muscles. He told us that he cannot suffer the pain so it should be relieved at once. He was suffering from night fevers. He was a moderately built man and on observation there is no cynosis or pallor. His skin was dry and stretched on legs due to swelling. There was black discoloration on his face. Deformity of finger joints in both hands observed. His pulse rate – 78/M, HR 78/M and weight 67 Kg. His past history reveals that he was suffering from allergic sneezing during his childhood that was treated and cured by allopathic medicines. There was history of recurrent ear infections during child hood but gets cured with out any medication at the age of 14. His father was diabetic and he was suffering from gastric ulcer too. He died of some unknown gastric problem. His mother has been suffering from itching between fingers since many years and she is suffering from itching throat, eyes and nose with sneezing. 3 brothers of his father were diabetic and 1 out of these 3 died of MI. In the paternal side there were history of skin eruptions (2 patients) and H/o one hysterectomy due to bleeding. He doesn’t know more about his 2 brothers and one sister as they are staying in their village. He has no communication with them actually.
