  • #9: Key Messages The global impact of Salesforce is bigger than our technology With our partners and customers we are creating millions of jobs around the world Talk Track This effect, is what IDC has coined, “the Salesforce Economy”. By 2022, this ecosystem of customers, partners and Trailblazers will create 3.3M jobs, drive $859B in GDP impact, and deliver new employment opportunities at scale. Transition Let’s take a look at the types of jobs and roles. Additional Talking Points and Resources React positively to the economic and job outlook -- use the phrases “Salesforce Economy” whenever possible Look to the future, if applicable. Discuss how the Salesforce ecosystem is poised to lead the way in new areas like IoT, analytics, AI and more. (HINT: We love to hear about Lightning). Touch on the new job and revenue numbers and how together – Salesforce, our partners and customers, will reach this milestone.
  • #11: Key Message Companies need deeply relevant and personalized interaction across devices, channels and interactions The Customer Success Platform is how companies create a single view of their customer Talk Track Our Customer Success Platform is how we help our customers succeed in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. We help connect companies to their customers across Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce, and across every customer touchpoint. Transition But we’re not just a technology platform. We’re also a platform for change.
  • #15: Key Message Our values are our guiding principles. Nothing is more important than the trust we have with you. The new Office of Ethical and Humane Use of Technology helps us have structured conversations around technology and its uses. Talk Track Salesforce was built on a set of four core values - Trust, Customer Success, Innovation and Equality. When it comes to trust, nothing is more important than the open, transparent relationship we have with our customers. We deliver the most trusted infrastructure for security, reliability and performance in the industry. Customer Success is based on mutual success. We grow when we deliver customer success. Innovation - We deliver 3 innovative releases per year, and by having the latest technology, our customers are able to innovate and build. Equality is a core tenet of how we run our business and we believe that equality and diversity make us a better company. We also know that technology is not always inherently good or bad; it’s what we do with it that matters. The new Office of Ethical and Humane Use helps us have structured conversations around the use of technology by engaging all of our stakeholders -- not just our employees. Transition These values are the foundation of Salesforce, and they've inspired us to improve the world around us.

  • #18: Key Message Adding Salesforce skills to your degree program will help prepare you for a job in the Salesforce Ecosystem. Talk Track Because the demand for Salesforce skills is so high, employers find it challenging to people with the skills they need--and those needs are a bit of a moving target. Today 8 out of 10 companies struggle to find talent with the skills they need, or train their existing workforce fast enough. And 7 out of 10 employers feel that college grads are not graduating with the skills they need.
  • #19: Key Message Students are new to Salesforce, and need a little extra help building their skills and their network The Trailblazer Community is that network. Talk Track A student group’s mission is different from a traditional community group. While many Salesforce professionals live and breathe Salesforce, and know how to leverage the Trailblazer Community to find answers and make connections, Students are brand new to this. The end goal of a Student Group is to skill up students so that they can be job-ready when they graduate. Learning skills isn’t enough. They also need to learn from professionals in our ecosystem who’ve blazed this trail before them. They need to build their professional network because 35% of hires come from a personal recommendation.   • #25: Key Message Trailhead is the free, fun way to learn Salesforce, and there are millions of Trailblazers around the world learning and sharing. Talk Track Later in this session, we’ll do a hands-on activity where you will create your own Trailhead account. We’ll also log into the Trailblazer Community and discover how you can build your network and engage with millions of Trailblazers.
