severe special day classroom (SDC) setting and special education services. Effectively educating
youth with moderate to severe disabilities is not a simplex task, as it requires multifaceted skillsets
involving various special education professionals. Developing and executing a service delivery model
that targets student s individual needs, while simultaneously supporting students in strides towards life
long goals is crucial. Carmack Elementary is one of fifty two elementary schools within SBCUSD that
only provides educational services to students with moderate to severe disabilities grades kindergarten
through sixth. The community surrounding Carmack Elementary has been deemed high poverty,
indicating a vast majority of students who attend Carmack are presumed as low income status. Lastly,
a vast majority of students who attend Carmack Elementary qualify for the free and reduced meal
program offered through the district.
Program Description
The service delivery model offered at Carmack Elementary is unique when compared to other service

drugs on the market. 10,540,000 women are currently on some type of orally ingested birth control.
Although only a few side effects are harmful, there are some rare cases of death from birth control. 23
women in the United States died from the common birth control pill, Yaz or Yasmin, just in this past
year. So how safe are women that take this? There are many different types of birth control. The most
common type of birth control is the combination pill. The combination stops ovulation due to the

usually turns people off to this method. The rod usually costs anywhere between $400 and $800. The
Depo Provera is a shot that does what every other birth control method does. Depo Provera releases
hormones that alter the levels of progestin and estrogen. The benefits are the same as the others by
preventing pregnancy and periods but there is a downside with this method. After one stops taking
Depo Provera, it makes it hard to get pregnant for up to 10 months. For some women who have taken
this, it took up to 18 months for them become pregnant. The most popular non digestible type of birth
control is the NuvaRing. Just like the combination pill, it releases progestin and estrogen to stop

Very interesting post. Working in Psych must be hard. I would imagine this field would be difficult for
some HP to set aside their own personal beliefs and judgement. I feel like as humans we always judge
what we don t understand. I would assume that this field of work could lead to compassion fatigue and
burnout due to the types of patients they care for. For example, when I worked in MedSurg I had a
patient on the unit that was a frequent flyer and attempted suicide multiple times. She would stay on
my unit they could place her on behavioral health, and it seemed like every time she was admitted I
was always working. I never had her as a patient but I had spent a lot of time talking with her through

reduction of the pancreatic β cells and finally produced hyperglycemia. Several studies described that
a significant increase in lipid peroxidation were noted in diabetic rats (Limaye et al., 2003). The
present findings are in accordance also with previous report indicated significant increase in TBARS
in STZ diabetic rats (Murugan and Pari, 2006). The lipid peroxidation may attribute to the
hypoinsulinemia caused by STZ progressive deterioration of normal pancreatic β cell function. This
