What is sex education in school
 Sex education is instruction on issues relating to
human sexuality, including human sexual anatomy,
sexual reproduction, sexual activity, reproductive
health, emotional relations, reproductive rights and
responsibilities, sexual abstinence, and birth control.
What are the Advantages & Disadvantages
of Sex Education at School?
 eaching children about sex can be difficult and
uncomfortable, but most people feel that it's necessary
and essential. A comprehensive sex education
curriculum will include basic sexual anatomy
 The science of reproduction, medically accurate facts
about contraception, information about abstinence
and a rundown of sexually transmitted diseases and
how to protect oneself.
Effective Sex Education
 sex education is effective at assisting young people to
make healthy decisions about sex and to adopt healthy
sexual behaviors. No abstinence-only-until-marriage
program has been shown to help teens delay the
initiation of sex or to protect themselves when they do
initiate sex.
Definitions of sex education in school
 sex education as the study of the characteristics of
beings: a male and female. Such characteristics make
up the person's sexuality. Sexuality is an important
aspect of the life of a human being and almost all
people, including children, want to know about it. Sex
education includes all the educational measures which
- regardless of the particular method used - may center
on sex.
