 Current research project aims to investigate social media as a driver influencing
and directing epidemiological response. Goal is to determine whether there is a
correlation between tweets and funds allocated, public awareness, and time for
heightened action for a given epidemiological event.

 Coded for the automatic segmentation of histological cancer images, resulting in
publication; Automatic batch-Invariant Color Segmentation of Histological

 Developed Mobile Health Device for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta through rapid
prototyping methods. Presented deliverable at international global health
conference (mHIMSS)
 Created algorithm for super resolution of histological images. Used Carl Zeiss
Microscope to image Quantum Dot stained cancer tissues and algorithm to
compile and resolve highest images in z-stack.
 Transformed antibodies and proteins to be used for antibiotics and Quantum

 Prepared web-based graphic animation videos to support patient education
(e.g., providing diabetes patients with videos on administering injections,
