What is it?Sleep is a state of when the body rests and there is no activity of nearly all the voluntary muscles. It is a natural recurring state of relatively suspended sensory and motor activity. It is one of the most important components for people to maintain a healthy lifestyle.Today, majority of the people do not receive enough hours of sleep. Especially teenagers:WorkloadSports Etc.
Why is sleep so important? The average teenager needs approximately 9-10 hours of sleep per night. This is because it drastically impacts their hormones for growth and physical maturation.Majority of the teenagers get approximately 7.4 hours of sleep per night. The number of sleep hours decrease as they get older.Adapt an unhealthy lifestyle:Inconsistent sleeping patternsIncreases stress level Getting tired more easilyLess likely to be able to focusLess alert

The amount of sleep we get impacts our performance in school. If we receive more hours of sleep, it is likely that we will improve our performances in school.
