Proposed Solution:
Design: Install multiple bins labeled for
recyclables, compost, and general waste, each
equipped with smart sensors.
Functionality: Sensors identify the type of waste
deposited and provide instant feedback via a mobile
app, guiding users to correct disposal practices.

Weight sensors to monitor fill levels and alert users via the app.

Include features like tutorials, local recycling guidelines, and tips.

making them technically feasible with current technology.
2. Economic Feasibility: Initial investment costs for smart waste
segregation systems may be higher than traditional methods,
but long-term benefits (reduced waste disposal costs,
increased recycling rates) can offset expenses.
