Dear Nan,
We are having a great a holiday here on the Gold Coast. Yesterday we went to the Movie World.
When we got up in the morning, it looked like rain. After a while the cloud disappeared. And it
became a sunny day. We then decided to go to the Movie World.
The first ride I went on was Lethal Weapon. Next I saw the Police Academy show. After that I had
lunch as I was really hungry. Meanwhile, Mum and Kelly queued for the Batman ride.
About one o’clock we got a light shower of rain but it cleared up soon after. We then went on all the
other rides.
It was a top day. See you when you get back.

Fried Chicken

Ingredients:
1 pound of chicken
4 cups of cooking oil
1 cup of flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of pepper
A dash of chili powder
The Steps:
First, put flour, salt, pepper, and chili powder in a plastic bag and shake to mix.
Next, cut chicken into small pieces, add them to the bag and shake to coat the chicken with
seasoned flour.
After that, heat the oil in a heavy frying pan over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for
about ten to fifteen minutes or until the chicken is golden brown.
Finally, drain the chicken and serve.

ALFRED NOBEL

After inventing dynamite, Swedish-born Alfred Nobel became a very rich man. However, he
foresaw its universally destructive power is too late. Nobel preferred not to be remembered as the
inventor of dynamite, so in 1895, just two weeks before his death, he created a fund to be used for
awarding prizes to people who had made worthwhile contributions to humanity. Originally, there
were five awards literature, physics, chemistry, medicine, and peace. Economics was added in 1968,
just sixty seven years after the first award ceremony.
Nobel’s original legacy of nine million dollars was invented, and the interest on this sum is
used for the awards which vary from $ 30.000 to $ 125.000.
Every year on December 10, the anniversary of Nobel’s death, the awards (gold medal,
illuminated diploma, and money) are presented to the winners. Sometimes politics play an important
role in the judgments and decisions. Americans have won numerous science awards, but relatively
few literature prizes.
No awards were presented from 1940 to 1942at the beginning of World War II. Some people
have won two prizes, but this is rare: others have shared their prizes

Losari Beach is a beautiful beach located in the western part of Makassar, South Sulawesi. The

beach has been an icon of Makassar for years and well-known for its beautiful sunset scenery. Many
people spend their afternoon and evening times enjoying the panorama when the reddish sun looks

Several years ago, Losari Beach was popular for its culinary providing traditional and modern

A poor boy sold goods from door to door to pay his school fee. One day he had only a
little money left and he was very hungry. He decided to ask for some food at the next house he

Once upon a time, there were a king and his queen who lived in the Kingdom of Belinyu.

queen would have a baby, and she had to give Komala a necklace to her baby. The queen woke
