Social software tools can support online training by facilitating collaboration, communication, and content sharing among trainees. Examples of social software include creating personal websites and journals, co-authoring resources, publishing videos and podcasts, social bookmarking, photo sharing, microblogging, RSS feeds, web telephony, and social networking. When used for online training, social software allows for social interaction, collaboration, participation and communication, connecting people and creating a shared learning experience.
