And it is a performance based video because it For the concept side of the music idea I have decide to make the whole video as a dream because it is repeated in the lyrics therefore i will attempt to make it seem like a dream by having a border of mist in each shot and everything quite slow placed so that every action is emphasised as it a dream seems like real life so i want it to be slow paced so that there are little clues which the audience only know it's a dream. The concept of the music video will be a cartoon style because the song is very upbeat and sounds like a song you would hear at the end of an animated film. So by having the characters animated it will look like a story being told through the song and in the music video. This will be very abstract and will make it different to just having the people in the music video filmed as normal. By having them in a cartoon style it links to the retro theme that the Indie genre follows because it will be an old style animation.

Seems incredibly cliche I think that maybe you should consider making it slightly different so that it stands out from the other videos. Maybe incorporating a concept idea so that it creates a hybrid music video rather than just sticking to the one music video style. In continuation with the performance themed music video I think that we could begin by showing the band members in the dressing room and the preparation before the band going on stage. The storyline is quite complicated and could be very difficult to portray to an audience. Maybe simplify the idea to make it more of an impact for the people to get the message behind it otherwise they won’t understand it. If you were to incorporate a narrative which links in with the lyrics. Something to celebrate? Fits the music video as well as the genre because, indie rock normally goes for a love story music video therefore fitting in very well. The idea works really well and i think it will be really effective. It is a really powerful message to convey and the dream idea would work really well. Could you have made it partly cartoon so that you have clips of real life and cartoon so that really extreme things are shown as a cartoon and the simple day to day live is shown in real.
