Assembly & Installation Connection type A: For connecting Nr.1 with Nr.3 using 1 pc Nr.9, 2 pairs of Nr.10 and Nr.12 The Three (3) Main Connection Types Connection type B: For connecting Nr.1 with Nr.2 using 1 pc Nr.9, 2 pairs of Nr.10 and Nr.12. Notice the difference of the holes on part PS272B- VDF-011 (Nr.9). The side of Nr.9 with the hole closer to the inner corner will be placed on beam Nr.1 Connection type C: For connecting Nr.2 with Nr.4 using 1 pc Nr.9, 2 pairs of Nr.10 and Nr.12. Notice the difference of the holes on part PS272B- VDF-011 (Nr.9). The side of Nr.9 with the hole closer to the outer edge will be placed on beam Nr.3

The dimensions for L as well as the other in the images above are indicative.

First join with the lower connectors and then with the upper. Before tighten them up, take care to center Nr.4 relative to the 2 Nr.2 beams. b) Upper Collector Support Almost same procedure as lower connector’s support with only difference that there is no need of the upper side connectors.

Tighten up in the next step. b) Place 2 pieces of the 1.4” clamps (Nr.8) on upper Nr.4. 54.2” ATTENTION: 2 parts PS272BVDF-015 (Nr.8) must be placed in the middle of the upper PS272BVDF-007 (106.3” length) square profile (Nr.4). Leave the bolts relatively loose. Tighten up after the collectors and the hydraulic fittings are placed.

Don’t fully tighten up yet the bolts you left loose in previous step. d) Attach the last 2 x 1.4” clamps Nr.8 Attach on the upper Nr.4 square profile the 2 last clamps Nr.8, one for each outer side of each collector, but do not fully tighten them up yet.

  SunMaxx Solar |5042-5160 NY 206 Bainbridge NY 13733 | 1.877.786.6299 1.877.270.7875 fax | www.sunmaxxsolar.com e) Tighten with all the clamp screws Now after you ensure that the collectors are perfectly placed on the structure and in all clamps Nr.7 and Nr.8, and after the hydraulic fittings that connect the 2 collectors are perfectly placed, fully tighten up all the bolts you left loose in the previews steps. Begin with the upper square profile Nr.4 with the clamps Nr.8. For the parts Nr.8 it is necessary to apply opposite force in order to avoid rotation of the aluminum part (picture on the right). ATTENTION: Pay maximum attention during tightening the nuts. Do not apply extreme force as there is danger to harm the collec- tor or destroy the accessories of the support structure. Apply the necessary force to secure the collector.

The 4 anchor bolts must be inserted in the PS272BVDF-011 (Nr.9) angle connector according to the following drawings:
