Elizabeth Plumb conducted surveys to determine what content would appeal to teenage readers for a new music magazine. Results showed that including pictures of celebrities (100%), using bright colors like pink and purple (80%), and featuring gossip, secrets, celebrity relationships and seasonal advice (80%) would attract young readers. Additionally, keeping the price between £1-£2 (100% agreed) and including posters of celebrities (80%) were supported. The surveys provided clear guidance on how to design the magazine for its target teenage demographic.
