GES 2016 aims to showcase inspiring entrepreneurs and
investors from around the world creating new
opportunities for investment, partnership, and
collaboration; connect American entrepreneurs and
investors with international counterparts to form lasting
relationships; and highlight entrepreneurship as means to
address some of the most intractable global challenges.
Hosting GES in Silicon Valley will highlight America’s
entrepreneurial spirit and allow American investors and
entrepreneurs to see the talent, solutions, and
opportunities that exist globally.
The TechWadi team welcomes all to join us
for an Iftar/Mixer that will provide a great
opportunity for networking and meeting
fellow-minded individuals.
Techfugees is a non-profit coordinating
the international tech community
responses to the needs of Refugees. The
Techfugees community now has 22 local
chapters all over the world, who are
working on technical responses to the
refugee situation. To mark World Refugee
Day, Techfugees is coming to activate the
largest tech community in the world,
Silicon Valley.
The fourth annual Etohum San Francisco event, which
bridges the Turkish and San Francisco startup
ecosystems, will be held at Galvanize in San Francisco
on June 22nd. As in previous years, over 300
entrepreneurs, investors and technologies from Turkey
and San Francisco are expected to attend this
educational and networking event.
For +500 accredited & active investors only,
PreMoney is a one-day conference, produced by
500 Startups, about the most disruptive strategies,
models, & technologies for the future of venture
capital. Featuring the world’s most forward-thinking
investors, PreMoney will provide attendees with
insight and tactics for building successful, scalable
venture portfolios that are just as innovative as the
companies they finance.
On the occasion of President Obama's Global
Entrepreneurship Summit at Stanford University,
please join the Atlantic Council, hosted by Michael
McFaul at Stanford's Freeman Spogli Institute, for
a conversation with Condoleezza Rice, Stephen
Hadley, and a panel of Arab entrepreneurs to
discuss the implications of the Middle East's
burgeoning startup scene.
MENA-based entrepreneurs are developing
solutions focused on their region’s economic
needs, cultures, and religions. They have proven
themselves to be technologically savvy, socially
conscious, and highly innovative, when provided
with the needed resources to start new ventures.
To help in the process of obtaining needed
business acumen and financial resources, the U.S.
Department of State’s Near Eastern Affairs Bureau,
The League of Arab States, and the Middle East &
North Africa Consultants Association (MENA
Consultants) are honored to host some of these
young entrepreneurs at our Global
Entrepreneurship Summit’s Speed Networking &
Iftar Reception
