• Jeremiah 29:11 For I know
the plans that I have for
you,' declares the LORD,
'plans for well-being, and
not for calamity, in order to
give you a future and a
hope.
• 1Co_2:9 But as it is written,
Eye hath not seen, nor ear
heard, neither have entered
into the heart of man, the
things which God hath
prepared for them that love
him.
• Joh 10:10 The thief comes
only to steal, slaughter, and
destroy. I have come that
they may have life, and have
it abundantly.
• Gen 13:18 So Abram
moved his tent and settled
beside the oaks of Mamre
that are by Hebron, where
he built an altar to the
LORD.
• Gen 12:6 Abram traveled through the land to
the place called Shechem, as far as the oak
of Moreh. At that time the Canaanites were in
the land.
• Gen 12:7 Then the LORD appeared to Abram
and said, "I'll give this land to your
descendants." So Abram built an altar to the
LORD, who had appeared to him.
• Gen 12:8 From there Abram traveled on to
the hill country east of Bethel and set up his
tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the
east. There he built an altar to the LORD and
called on the name of the LORD.

• 2Sa 6:12 And it was told king David,
saying, The LORD hath blessed the house
of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto
him, because of the ark of God. So David
went and brought up the ark of God from
the house of Obededom into the city of
David with gladness.
• 2Sa 6:13 And it was so, that when they that
bare the ark of the LORD had gone six
paces, he sacrificed oxen and fatlings.
• 2Sa 6:14 And David danced before the
LORD with all his might; and David was
girded with a linen ephod.
THE BLESSING AND GUIDANCE OF A
GODLY FATHER
• Gen 26:1 And there was a famine in the land,
beside the first famine that was in the days of
Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech
king of the Philistines unto Gerar.
• Gen 26:2 And the LORD appeared unto him,
and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in
the land which I shall tell thee of:
• Gen 26:3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be
with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee,
and unto thy seed, I will give all these
countries, and I will perform the oath which I
sware unto Abraham thy father;
• Gen 26:4 And I will make thy seed
to multiply as the stars of heaven,
and will give unto thy seed all these
countries; and in thy seed shall all
the nations of the earth be blessed;
• Gen 26:5 Because that Abraham
obeyed my voice, and kept my
charge, my commandments, my
statutes, and my laws.
• Heb 11:20-21 “By faith Isaac
blessed Jacob and Esau in
regard to their future. 21 By
faith Jacob, when he was
dying, blessed each of
Joseph’s sons, and worshiped
as he leaned on the top of his
staff.”
• 2Sa 9:7 And David said to him,
Have no fear: for truly I will be
good to you, because of your
father Jonathan, and I will give
back to you all the land which
was Saul's; and you will have a
place at my table at all times.
• 1Ki 11:11 So the Lord said to
Solomon, Because you have done
this, and have not kept my agreement
and my laws, which I gave you, I will
take the kingdom away from you by
force and will give it to your servant.
• 1Ki 11:12 I will not do it in your life-
time, because of your father David,
but I will take it from your son.

them diligently unto thy
children, and shalt talk of them
when thou sittest in thine
house, and when thou walkest
by the way, and when thou liest
down, and when thou risest up.

mother Eunice; and I am
persuaded that in thee also.
• Exo 2:1 And there went a man of the
house of Levi, and took to wife a
daughter of Levi.
• Exo 2:2 And the woman conceived, and
bare a son: and when she saw him that
he was a goodly child, she hid him three
months.
• Exo 2:3 And when she could not longer
hide him, she took for him an ark of
bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and
with pitch, and put the child therein; and
she laid it in the flags by the river's
brink.
• 1Sa 1:11 And she vowed a vow, and
said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt
indeed look on the affliction of thine
handmaid, and remember me, and
not forget thine handmaid, but wilt
give unto thine handmaid a man
child, then I will give him unto the
LORD all the days of his life, and
there shall no razor come upon his
head.

continued praying before the LORD,
that Eli marked her mouth.
• 1Sa 1:17 Then Eli answered and said,
Go in peace: and the God of Israel
grant thee thy petition that thou hast
asked of him.
• 1Sa 1:20 Wherefore it came to pass,
when the time was come about after
Hannah had conceived, that she bare a
son, and called his name Samuel,
saying, Because I have asked him of
the LORD.
