This study investigated the effects of electro-acupuncture combined with exercise on chronic low-back pain (LBP) in a randomized controlled trial involving 52 patients. Results showed that the group receiving both therapies reported significantly improved pain and disability scores immediately after treatment and at one-month follow-up, with further improvements at three months; however, no significant differences in spinal range of motion or strength were noted between the two groups. The findings suggest that combining electro-acupuncture with exercise may be an effective treatment for LBP.
