The lord of the rings
The lord of the rings
Writer:
John Ronald Reuel Tolkien (J.R.R Tolkien):
(3 January 1892 – 2 September 1973):
He was an English writer,
poet, and university professor,
who is best known as the
author of the classic
high-fantasy works.
The Hobbit,
The Lord of the Rings.
General Idea:
Set in the fictional world of Middle-earth, the Novel
follow the hobbit Frodo Baggins as he and a
Fellowship embark on a quest to destroy the
One Ring, and thus ensure the destruction of its
maker, the Dark Lord Sauron.
Summary:
Thousands of years before the events of the novel,
the Dark Lord Sauron had forged the One Ring to
rule the other Rings of Power and corrupt those who
wear them. Isildur, a ruler of Men, cut the One Ring
from Sauron's finger, claiming it as an heirloom for
his line, and Sauron lost his physical form. When
Isildur was killed by Orcs. The Ring was lost in the
River Anduin at Gladden Fields.
Over two thousand years later, the Ring was
found by one of the river-folk called Déagol. His
friend Sméagol immediately fell under the
Ring's influence and strangled Déagol to
acquire it. Sméagol was banished and hid under
the Misty Mountains. He lost the Ring, his
"precious", and then Bilbo Baggins found it.
Sauron, who needed the Ring to regain his full
power, sent forth his powerful servants,
the Nazgûl, to seize it.
Continue..
Gandalf the Grey told Bilbo Baggins to take the
ring away from the Shire. Bilbo Baggins gave the
ring to Frodo, to go to the Mount Doom and threw
the ring into it. Frodo leaves with his friend,
Samwise ("Sam") Gamgee, and two cousins,
Meriadoc ("Merry") Brandybuck and Peregrin
("Pippin") Took. They go through the Old Forest,
where they meet with Tom Bombadil, who alone is
unaffected by the Ring's corrupting influence. He
help him to cross the forest.
Continue..
When they reach to the
Mount Doom, a dwarf come
and attack on Frodo to acquire
the ring. When dwarf success
to take the ring, he fell down
into the Mount Doom along
with the ring. The ring
finished in the Mount Doom
and all that things created by the ring destroy.
Continue..

The idea of “The Lord of the Rings” was
Friendship and was something
that Tolkien was very influenced by. A

Frodo Baggins, the Ring bearer, makes a
huge sacrifice in saving Middle-earth from evil.
My Idea:
Thank You
