Hymn to Love If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, B ut have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
And if I have prophetic powers, A nd understand all mysteries , A nd all knowledge, A nd if I have all faith, S o as to remove mountains, B ut have not love, I am nothing.
If I give away all I have, A nd if I deliver my body to be burned, B ut have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient and kind; L ove is not jealous or boastful; I t is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; I t is not irritable or resentful; I t does not rejoice at wrong, B ut rejoices in the right.
Love bears all things, B elieves all things, H opes all things, E ndures all things.
Love never ends; A s for prophecies, T hey will pass away; A s for tongues, T hey will cease; A s for knowledge, I t will pass away.
For our knowledge is imperfect and our prophecy is imperfect; but when the perfect comes, the imperfect will pass away.
When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became a man, I gave up childish ways.
For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall understand fully, E ven as I have been fully understood. So faith, hope, love , abide, these three; but the greatest of these is LOVE ( Chapter Thirteen of St. Paul's First Letter to the Corinthians )
Where is love, there is no suffering, and if indeed, the same becomes the subject of love. When you are silent - silent out of love. When you say - talk of love. When you criticize - do it with love. When you defend - do it of love. Let that love taken root in you. Then you sure are having a fruit of love and goodness. Man is worth so much, where it is able to love. You get from day to day beautiful in so far as love grows in you. Because love is the beauty of the soul, is its beauty. The one who loves himself and not God does not love himself, but who loves God and not him s elf, loves just himself. Love and do what you want. What love - such a man. St. Augustine (Aurelius Augustine of Hippo)
Patience is a daily form of love. Joseph Ratzinger A man looking for love, because in the depths of hearts knows that only love can make him happy. John Paul II
I know perfectly well that oasis for man is love, and that it alone is the source of all the oasis among people. I believe that God is love. If you find anywhere in the wilderness of life love, True love, to follow her, and you get The source of all love, to God, This Great Oasis in time and eternity . Phil Bosmans
„ If we truly love, we must learn to forgive ” Mother Teresa of Calcutta „ To love - is to wait ” Kamieńska „ Love, it does not mean looking at each other, but look in the same direction ” Stachura „ If you're looking for love - love you simply ” M. Pawlikowska-Jasnorzewska „ Who avoids love is sick ” M. Hillar „ Those who have the courage to love should have courage to suffer ”
