Ariadne, established in 2008 by the Swedish Research Council and hosted by the University of Gothenburg, archives archaeological data based on the OAIS model, providing long-term storage and accessibility through a digital archive. The project has seen significant growth since it began archiving archaeological data in 2011, managing a diverse range of datasets and expecting a tenfold increase in data volume. Future advancements include a new management system, improved search capabilities, and enhanced cooperation with heritage authorities.
