This means that a wide number of complex use cases can be handled with a single tool. This advanced analytics and learning means that you are not limited by what you know today- the system is automatically expanding and classifing all captured documents and learning from every new example.
• #116: Well, as we all know on this call, Magellan is built to handle that very knarly tall order challenge. So can speak to that on this slide. (The idea here is to talk about the go back and mention the requirements in terms of Magellan and take prospects through a data transformation journey) Recommendation engines need to be rooted and based on specific capabilities to successfully take data through a transformative process of accessing, managing, blending and processing it into accurate outcomes for customers. More often than not, all this capabilities come from a robust platform such as Magellan. Our platform’s ecosystem is a platform comprised of pre-integrated technologies that provide all the features necessary for an AI and analytics system, including business intelligence, data discovery, predictive analysis and text mining. The platform is anchored by Spark, an open source extensible Big Data storage and processing technology from Apache. This is what allows the system to efficiently crunch through the immense amounts of data that our customers wish to analyze. (ACCESS AND MANAGE) AI comes into the picture via Sparks Machine Learning library, where data scientists can create custom algorithms using the Magellan Notebook (based on Jupyter), and save them as drag-n-drop analytic assets for business users. (BLEND AND PROCESS) The platform can source data from any stream or repository, especially data managed by OpenText EIM solutions such as Experience Suite, Business Network and Content Suite. MUST do a run through of the data flow all the way to insights “Let’s go through the process of how data becomes a targeted offer with Magellan” Magellan accesses all types of data from credit scores to unstructured data such as social media posts and news articles Massive amounts of data can be stored and processes thanks to its Apache Spark core that also offers advanced machine learning algorithms to apply to this data. What the algorithms do is lets Magellan find relationships between data of different natures for a targeted purpose which in our case is predict market trends, respond to changing industry regulations, and identify new business strategies such as cross-selling. Once advanced machine learning has been applied, users can consume those insights for better decision making.

It allows you to bring together the people and information needed to make accurate business decisions in a timely fashion, with all of the controls needed to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. Low code: Information-driven design – shift from looking at the full process and all the steps and then what they need at those steps to (SME – what do I need to get done) define the info you need to work with first and then go the process simplifies development between IT and the business by helping to define early on and working in same tool Process automation: BPMN – process modeling language ESB – Enterprise Service Bus; integration component; supports high volume process transactions Case Management: CMMN – case modeling language EIS framework – simplify integrations using API calls (RESTFUL components); data objects are translated into entities that can be readily used (pick lists) to build applications Right Side: Extend, Access and Support The AppWorks gateway (don’t build APIs in AppWorks but can manage, issue custom APIs “API library”) and developer resources complement it perfectly to enable delivery of custom applications to multiple devices. That is why we have brought the two together under the single brand name of AppWorks. OpenText AppWorks makes it easier to deliver seamless customer experiences that adapt to changing customer needs while improving operational efficiency and managing risk. It creates new opportunities to reengineer processes around customer needs, enrich and improve knowledge-based work and apply artificial intelligence to bring more efficiency to back-office operations. The core of the platform is a bus architecture that allows connected services to exchange SOAP messages. External systems can be linked to the bus through connectors. The Platform ships with a number of standard connectors (e.g. JMS, FTP, and Email). On top of that, there is a large set of community connectors. In addition, developers can develop a custom connector based on the public Connector API.      
• #122: Intelligent forms automation solutions range from very simple forms accessed by employees to collect information that’s saved to a database, to completely automated forms-driven solutions with many users, many forms, many steps in a process, and interaction with many systems. Solutions can involve both internal and external users such as customers and partners using secure methods for form access and processing. Access to forms can be provided using the LiquidOffice Portal, but many customers provide access by email, from other internal and external websites, from other portals such as SharePoint and Content Server, and in other more traditional ways. While many organizations would like to deliver solutions with web forms, the reality is that pdf and paper forms are still prevalent, and in many cases will continue to be suited for particular tasks. This is why Intelligent Forms Automation provide customers with all options to support information collection using any form, but enables efficient processing of information collected using a single automated process vs. other solutions that are typically siloed based on the form used to collect information. Once forms are submitted, something needs to be done with the information to ensure it is handled as needed. LiquidOffice makes it easy for people to review information, supplement it with information from other systems, process it in many different ways, and route it where it needs to go. Of course processing can be completely automated as well to ensure fast and efficient processes. When processing is complete, information collected and the forms themselves can be saved to databases and other systems using out of the box connectors. And in many cases, solutions can be create by non-technical users without any scripting or coding. However where preferred, developers can roll up their sleeves to customize and integrate as desired with a variety of connectors, scripting options, and APIs.
• #124: Today, ideal solutions are built on the Documentum xCP platform. Documentum xCP is a solution development platform for building information-intensive solutions (those that pull information from a variety of sources and store them together). These solutions can also take advantage of the built-in business process management support that xCP provides to help with decision-making, as well as, the content and process analytics to drive visual reports and charts/dashboards to see the trends in the system. Key capabilities include being able to build solutions that: Automate manual tasks like approval/rejections, reviewing content, and ensuring all relevant information has been collected. Measure content and processes – ensure all information is captured, while tracking and measure the information. Effectively manage changes and decisions – collaborate and share amongst each other throughout the process, while being able to track changes along the way. Easily delegate work by way of defined steps in a process. Handle high volumes of transactions with the great efficiency. Process work in the context of a case folder where all information is contained and maintained as a complete record. Full visibility into all activity and interactions. Provides a full audit trail each step of the way. These are just a few of the core capabilities that Documentum xCP delivers as part of solutions built from the xCP development platform.
