Exclusive Vasari Corridor Tour
• Until not so long ago it seemed almost impossible to
visit the celebrated Vasari Corridor, due to long waiting
lists and few available dates during the year. Since May
2012 we are offering our Vasari Corridor Florence Small
Group Tour with max 25 participants.
• Our Exclusive Vasari Corridor Florence Tour will be the
most special moment of your stay in Florence.
Uffizi gallery
Florence Uffizi tour
• The Florence Uffizi Gallery is one of the most famous
museums in the world given the rich amount of unique
artworks and masterpieces conserved within its walls,
the majority from the Renaissance period.
• Our Uffizi & Vasari Corridor: Morning Tour will be
conducted entirely in English and always in small
groups of maximum 25 people.
Florence Cathedral
Florence cathedral museum tour
• The cathedral complex, located in Piazza del Duomo,
includes the Baptistery and Giotto's Campanile. The
three buildings are part of the UNESCO World Heritage
Site covering the historic centre of Florence and are a
major attraction to tourists visiting the region of
Tuscany. The basilica is one of Italy's largest churches,
and until development of new structural materials in the
modern era, the dome was the largest in the world. It
remains the largest brick dome ever constructed.
Piazza del Duomo, Florence
Piazza del Duomo, Florence
• The main attraction for visitors to Florence is the Piazza
del Duomo (Cathedral Square) where many of the city’s
major monuments are located. There’s the impressive
Duomo with its massive dome and adjacent clock tower,
the ruins of Chiesa di Santa Reparata (the Church of
Saint Reparata), the Baptistery of Saint John, and the
Cathedral Museum.
Michelangelo David
Michelangelo David
• Better than anyone else, Giorgio Vasariintroduces in a few words
the marvel of one of the greatest masterpieces ever created by
mankind. At the Accademia Gallery, you can admire from a short
distance the perfection of the most famous statue in Florence and,
perhaps, in all the world: Michelangelo’s David.
• Michelangelo was only 26 years old in 1501, but he was already
the most famous and best paid artist in his days. He accepted the
challenge with enthusiasm to sculpt a large scale David and worked
constantly for over two years to create one of his
most breathtaking masterpieces of gleaming white marble.
Palazzo Pitti
Palazzo Pitti
• The Palazzo Pitti is a large palace situated in Oltrarno, across
the river from the historic center of Florence. The palace
was long the residence of Florence's rulers until 1919, when
it was handed over to the Italian state, which transformed
the palace into a museum complex.
• The palazzo is now the largest museum complex in Florence.
The principal palazzo block, often in a building of this design
known as the corps de logis, is 32,000 square metres. It is
divided into several principal galleries or museums detailed
below.
