 The start of the trailer is a sharp soundtrack with powerful pleonastic sounds to get the audiences attention
and so they keep watching. It also has an establishing shot of the scenario to make the place look extremely
big which makes the people look small and lost in the desert. Not only this but there is continuous fades to
the next scene to separate each sequence and to show all different parts of the film so the audience gets a
full view of the film, this will be used in our film trailer as this makes a big impact on the trailer and to show
short clips of the rest of the film. There is also a voiceover over the clips to describe to film in short words
which gives the audience a much bigger understanding if you haven’t seen the first one. There is also an
establishing shot of a bridge to show the dystopian world that has been destroyed to show the audience
what is happening and to give an effect to make us feel sorry for the people living in this place. There is also
an over the shoulder shot of the man looking at aliens in a tube to build confusion in the audience as we do
not know what is going on which makes the audience want to go and see the film.
THE LAST WITCH HUNTER

 This is a short trailer but has a lot of an effect in it. It starts off with the production company to show
who made it so if they like other films that were made by this company they may want to see this one as
well. Not only this but the trailer starts off with a voiceover to describe the main event in the film. Also
you do not actually see the main characters face 20 seconds into the trailer whereas normally they are
the first item on the screen which insinuates mystery towards the audience. Furthermore there is an
establishing shot of New York City to show where the film is placed which can attract audiences that like
New York so the film may be more successful. Not only this but there is pleonastic sound of the swords
to build tension as the audience doesn’t know what is going on so the pleonastic sounds create an
effect towards the audience. A title appears saying “Vin Diesel” which may attract his fans and anyone
that likes him to boost the film. There is also a sound towards the end of the trailer which makes the
audience feel like they are in a bubble which creates a massive effect towards the audience to make
them feel like they are in the film. The music then goes very loud when the title comes up so the
audience knows the title of the film.
HITMAN AGENT 47
HTTPS://WWW.YOUTUBE.COM/WATCH?V=ALQLJDRNQKE
 The trailer opens with the camera looking at a camera which is a shallow focus so it looks like the
audience is being watched to create an effect towards the audience and a head comes up so we can
see a close up of the barcode on the back of his head. When this happens the soundtrack comes so we
instantly know who the main character is. I will use this in my trailer to make the film look more clearer
towards the audience. There is also an extreme long shot of the Hitman walking through a metal
detector and all the guards pointing their guns at him to show that he is the alpha male and very skilled
in fighting as you can already tell. There is also slow motion of the Hitman with his skills to show he is
very powerful. This is shown using CGI of the bullet of him breaking the handcuffs. Not only this but
there is pyrotechnics of the helicopter blowing up to show the power of the Hitman. This attracts action
genre fans as they can see all the fighting and explosions that happen in the movie. The title then
comes up at the end and the soundtrack gets louder so you know what the film is called. This will help
the film in the box office as people will know the name of the movie so more people can see it.

 Firstly the production company title comes up so anyone that likes the films that the production
produces then they might want to watch this one as it may be similar to others. The start of the trailer
starts with the main character surrounded by other men with a long shot to show the hero is trapped
and he has to try to find a way out. Also the props of using the guns and knifes builds sympathy for
the hero as we aren’t sure what is going to happen to him as these props are used. Not only this but
the pleonastic sound of the stun gun shows the strength of the hero as it is a sharp sound to build
suspense. There is also close ups of the speedometer and the gear change to show the hero is skilled
in driving and that it is a fast film which will attract other people who like genres about action and
speed. I will use this in my trailer as it is good shots for to explain the main character or characters and
is an effective way of showing the character. There is also gun props that are used to show that the
hero is not scared and he doesn’t react to them getting them out to show he is courageous and
powerful. Furthermore, there is the hero wearing a full suit to show he has standards and is rich to
insinuate he has power within the place.
SPECTRE
HTTPS://WWW.YOUTUBE.COM/WATCH?V=ASHLACLKCIK
 The trailer starts off with the soundtrack sounding quite sorrowful to build confusion for the audience as
James Bond is normally a dominant character in his films but the start is quite a slow soundtrack. This joins
in with the establishing shot of the MI6 which has a hole in the middle of it which also builds confusion for
the audience as his base is destroyed. There is also a long shot of an empty room with James Bond in it
with a table to make it look like he is lonely and like he has failed his mission. This is unlike these films
which makes the audience question. Not only this but there is an extreme close up of a photo which is
burnt which makes it look like James Bond is weak which is completely anti stereotypical of his character
in all of the films. Furthermore, there is a close up of Daniel Craig's face to make him look weak and lost.
There is also a long shot of James Bonds Aston Martin which brings his power back as we can see that he
is back with his old gadgets. In addition to this there is mid shot of a man with a black outline to show
mystery and so we do not know who the main villain in the film is. The title of the film then comes up at
the end after the pleonastic bullet shot so the audience know what the film is called. This is using CGI of
the bullet going through the glass.
