Tsunamis are large ocean waves caused by earthquakes under the sea that can grow very tall and flood coastal areas when they reach land. As they approach shore, tsunamis slow down in speed but increase in height, making them deadly. Hurricanes are massive ocean storms that form over warm waters and bring heavy winds and rain that can cause flooding. Both tsunamis and hurricanes are dangerous natural disasters that occur over oceans and impact coastal regions.
