To create a cnn.com profile, you first click the sign up button and choose a screen name that cannot be changed later. You then provide your email address to set up your account and create a password. Once complete, your newly created profile displays in the center, allowing you to connect with social media friends and see saved stories from others. The right side shows local weather and stock prices. Your profile enables sharing news stories and commenting to connect with other readers.

- 1. Creating a cnn.com profile
- 2. First Click on the “sign up” button on the Homepage
- 3. You will be prompted to create a screen name Be sure you like this name it cannot be changed later. Follow the prompt so that your screen name is the proper length and content.

- 6. After creating an account you will return to the homepage. Click on this in the top right hand corner to view your profile!
