2. Types of Evaluation
Formative Evaluation:
It denotes the ongoing systematic assessment
of learners achievement while the term ,Course
or instrumental progrmme is in progress.
It is the assessment mode during the
instrumental phase to let teacher know about
the learners progress in learning and what
more is to be done
3. Purpose of Formative
Evaluation
1)Feed back to the students(and not
assignment of grade) should be the
purpose of making evaluation of
affective objectives.
2)Gathering data during the progrmme is
being developed for guiding the
developmental process.
