DoFollowVs NoFollow Links: If a website is linking back to you with nofollow attributes, it does not pass on link juice Humans will be able to follow the links.Though some time back Google made it clear that they don’t consider nofollow link attributes but weightage of such links are really less. - 3. All links are not the same! Links from High PageRank sites have more power than low PR links. We should try to get links from both high PR and low PR sources otherwise it would not look natural and can raise suspicious flags in the eyes of Google! 1 link from PR 5 website can have more value than 50 links from PR 1 or PR 0 websites
- 4. Google will place more value on links from relevant websites though non-relevant links can also have some value. It is a blackhat strategy which can yield short term results but can be bad in long term. For new sites, it is important to start building links slowly and then build up the momentum. Don’t stop links suddenly. It can have negative impact on site rankings.
