This document discusses a novel approach to network coding-based opportunistic routing for unicast in lossy wireless multihop networks, emphasizing the impact of link correlation on routing performance. It introduces a method that utilizes coded feedback messages to optimize throughput while minimizing overhead, allowing for distributed computation without needing explicit knowledge of link losses and correlations. The proposed algorithm shows superior performance compared to existing methods through simulations, offering a promising solution to the challenges posed by varying channel conditions.
