This document presents the Shivalik video streaming website project. The website allows users to watch instructional videos online, download videos, and search by video name or description from a database. The project uses PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL database, and Apache server. Key features include easy search and download of large videos. Modules include user login/signup, storing and streaming videos, search, and an admin panel. Future enhancements could include individual user dashboards, social network integration, and adding a news section.

Shivalik video streaming allows video storage and streaming from a database, enabling online viewing, downloading, and searching by name or description.
The system aims to assist colleges and institutions in watching lecture videos online.
User-friendly features include video searching, downloading, dynamic interaction, and video storage capacity of up to 2GB.
Required software includes Windows XP or higher, Dreamweaver/Notepad++, PHP, HTML, CSS, JQuery, and MySQL database.
Minimum hardware needs include a 1.5GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 40GB hard disk, and basic input/output devices.
Front end development uses HTML, CSS, JavaScript; back end uses PHP and MySQL on an Apache XAMPP server.
Starts with user login for accessing the system.
Modules include user login, database design, video management, streaming, searching, admin panel for managing records.
